This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property for lease is located in Roane County, WV, not far from the Jackson County line and Ohio State line. I can't put into words how much deer sign was on this property. There were literally rubs and trails everywhere. This area is known to carry large deer densities. On top of the deer sign there was also a lot of turkey sign on this property. The property is a fairly steep property with nice ridges and benches and a couple of good hollows for set-up and also several good stand locations along the hay fields. Also, there was some old grown up openings that don't show up on the map real well. The property is surrounded by good water sources including a creek and several ponds. The owner also has a couple of small garden spots where he raises pumpkins. Also, The owner also owns the adjoining tract of land and is keeping it for cattle, etc, so this will act as a buffer to this lease. The owner lives on the property. ATV use is ok for hunting purposes and camping is also permitted. This will be a very fun property for a few guys who want to see a lot of game.
